Lithium extraction from salt brine in Qinghai,China -- centrifugal extractor
Company: Qinghai xxx lithium company
Production time: 2021.9
Model : CWL650-M
PROBLEM:
There are two significant characteristics of salt brine in China:
1. The composition is complex, and quality of brine is lower than South America salar;
2. high Mg/Li ratio, the ratio in China is several times or even a hundred times higher than other countries. So this has brought certain difficulties to the development of lithium resources in China.
For the brine system of high magnesium chloride salt lakes, the extraction rate is relatively low if only use TBP as extractant. And this method has also disadvantages of strong corrosion on equipment, big loss of the extractant/solvent, and is prone to environmental pollution.
SOLUTION:
For this problem, Zhengzhou TIEI extraction Technology Co.,Ltd launched CWL-M series centrifugal extractor combined with unique technology, perfectly solve the problem of corrosion, solvent loss, environment pollution in the process of lithium extraction. At the same time, the extraction rate can be increased.
1). extraction section: mixing the brine and solvent , feed into our CWL-M centrifugal extractor, 4-5 stages counter-current extraction, solvent is consisted of Tributyl phosphate and kerosene.
2). Back extraction section: loaded solvent will be back extracted in the centrifugal extractor, 3-4 stages counter-current back extraction, solvent is consisted of 4-6mol/l hydrochloric acid.
Result and Why:
Our DLE solvent extraction technology can achieve the high efficiency of lithium resource separation. It is a sharp tool for large-scale development of lithium resources in China's salt lakes. This extraction and recovery system from TIEI EXTRACTION has features of working stable, good application effect and received high praise from customers.
Customer Evaluation:
Our lithium extraction process system runs stably and has good application results. Our cooperation is very pleasant
