In the lithium carbonate production process, the yield of the lithium precipitation section is low, about 80%, and another 20% of lithium is dissolved in the lithium precipitation mother liquor, with a Li+ content of 1.5~2g/L, mainly sodium chloride and lithium Saturated salt solution where sodium coexists, and other elements are at low ppm level due to the pretreatment process of impurity removal in the previous stage.

Taking a production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons of lithium carbonate as an example, a lithium carbonate production line of this scale produces about 360 cubic meters of lithium-precipitated mother liquor per day, and about 130,000 cubic meters of lithium-precipitated mother liquor per year, equivalent to about 1,500 tons of lithium carbonate. If such a huge lithium resource is not recovered, it will cause huge resource waste and economic loss.
